Hosting the ASNT – North Atlantic Section annual general meeting.

In July, the American Society for Nondestructive Testing North Atlantic Section (ASNT NATL) annual general meeting was hosted our training facility in Sheffield and virtually on Teams.
During the meeting, attendees reviewed the highlights of the past year and upcoming activities, including the ASNT Annual Conference in Las Vegas. Leading the discussions was Nathan Bate, our Level 3 consultant, trainer, and examiner, who also serves as the NATL section chair.
At Argyll Ruane, we actively support our staff in joining and contributing to industry societies like ASNT. This engagement enhances our industry knowledge and allows us to stay at the forefront of technological advancements and best practices.
ASNT NATL are a non-profit making section made up of volunteers from industry. Based in the UK, they are one of the largest sections within the ASNT, with probably the highest number of Level III members.
Their mission is to:
- provide NDT education materials and programmes
- provide training, standards and services for the qualification and certification of NDT personnel
- promote the discipline of NDT as a profession
- facilitate and promote NDT research and the application of NDT technology
