Representatives from IMechE Argyll Ruane attended the Scottish Region Annual Dinner, and it proved to be a productive and informative evening. The two guest speakers Jurgen Maier, the Chief Executive Officer of Siemens UK and IMechE’s Chief Executive Dr. Colin Brown were hugely impressive.
As we are increasing the projects and training that we are undertaking in Scotland (for both NDT and ICorr) the event provided a fantastic networking opportunity.
We were very encouraged by Jurgen Maier’s speech, which placed emphasis on the importance of skilled individuals in delivering the “fourth industrial revolution”. A sentiment we wholeheartedly agree with.
