From 1 January 2017, PCN re certifications must be taken 6 weeks prior to expiry. Book yours today to ensure your ticket remains valid.

PCN have announced that from 1 January 2017, all recertification exams must be taken at least six weeks, but not more than 90 days prior to the expiry date. Previously, recertification was permitted up to the expiry date.

“Re-certification results notices will be issued from the examination date and will expire five years minus a day from the original expiry date, unless a late or deferred has been received. The certificate will not be validated from the examination date if the recertification procedure is completed more than 90 days prior to expiry. In this instance, the certificate will be validated from a maximum of 90 days prior to expiry.

If the results notice is received after the expiry date, a late application will be required and further fees will be incurred regardless of the exam being taken before the expiry date.”

For example, for certifications that are due to expire on:
1 January 2017, the latest the examination can be taken would be 20 November 2016
