Strengthening global partnerships to enhance coatings inspection courses in Asia

Ellen Sun and Fang Jing from training partner TUV, China, recently visited our team in Sheffield, UK.
Bryan Ravenshear, Dale O’Reilly, David Mobbs (Institute of Corrosion – ICorr), Debbie Bernard and Helen Maxwell were involved in the meeting to discuss how we can further strengthen our current partnership and explore new avenues of collaboration.
As our first international ICorr training partner, we have had the privilege of working closely with TUV since 2018. The partnership has enabled the extension of the ICorr certification scheme, delivering Coatings Inspection training and examinations, in addition to NDT training and examinations, to China and surrounding areas,.
A global hub for businesses in industries like Oil & Gas, Fabrication, and Offshore Wind, China is seeing a rising demand for inspectors of the highest calibre. Through our collaboration with TUV, we have been able to ensure that projects in these sectors are equipped with skilled inspectors who are trained to the highest standard.
As we move forward, we are excited to see what the future holds for our partnership with TUV, and we remain committed to supporting their training and certification services.
