Our Level III Consultant Michael Mullins recently completed bespoke SNT courses and exams for Magnetic, Ultrasonic and Visual Testing to Halliburton’s written practice for a number of their employees in Angola.
Michael kept the rest of the team up to date with regular pictures of his travels. After seeing some of the transport Michael had to use to get to the training venue, the rest of the IMechE Argyll Ruane team were glad to see him back safe and sound!
The work came about after one of the Halliburton team attended a training course at our training centre in Sheffield. They were so impressed with the training they asked if Michael could make the trip to Angola and work with their team.
The course was a success on a number of levels as all six students passed the course. This in turn will have a huge operational benefit for Halliburton. Michael also considered the journey a success as in his own words ‘I wasn’t bitten and I was wasn’t sick’
