Ultrasonic Testing Training Suite Revamped Amongst Major NDT Investment

Since the beginning of 2018, there have been a number of changes at IMechE Engineering Training Solutions to improve the student’s training experience to ensure they are as best prepared for their examination as possible.
Ultrasonic Testing experts Andrew King and Richard Horsfall are now heading up the new UT training suite at IMechE. They are supported by James Caruth and new starter Jordan Wood to provide expert knowledge and experience to those studying for their standard UT certifications and advanced methods such as Phased Array and TOFD.
The Ultrasonic training suite has always offered flexible start dates to meet technicians’ various requirements in any sector and IMechE now also offers highly frequent UT Phased Array and TOFD courses.
IMechE is also pleased to announce that Craig Hobson re-joined the organisation as Chief Examiner and is both maintaining our high standards and ensuring that students receive a positive examination experience, enhanced by recent investments in new training and examination samples.
Students benefit from free lunches, an improved break out area featuring table football and table tennis and daily newspapers and, of course, the best training available to ensure that they are thoroughly prepared for their examinations.
Additionally, as part of an all new course schedule, Magnetic Particle and Penetrant Testing courses are now continuously run back-to-back all year.
