In his new role, Ian will work closely with Chief Examiner, Nathan Bate, supporting the delivery and management of PCN examinations. His responsibilities will also extend to Level 3 consultancy and training, drawing on his broad range of certifications and industry experience.

Ian holds over 19 PCN certifications, most of which are at Level 3, including; Advanced Radiation Safety, Magnetic Particle Testing, Penetrant Testing, Radiographic Testing (welds & castings), Ultrasonic Testing (welds, casting, forgings and wrought products) and Visual Testing. Ian also holds ASNT NDT Level III certification in Magnetic Particle Testing, Penetrant Testing, Radiographic Testing, Ultrasonic Testing, and Visual Testing – making him one of the most highly qualified professionals within the industry.
