Supporting the development of competent coating inspectors in China

Our longstanding training collaborator, TÜV Rheinland, recently delivered Level 2 Protective Coating Inspector training and examinations, accredited by the Institute of Corrosion (ICorr), to candidates at their facility in Shanghai, China.
The programme combined structured theoretical instruction with practical inspection activities, ensuring candidates developed the technical knowledge, inspection skills, and competence required for operational environments.
During 2025, TÜV Rheinland has supported over 70 candidates in achieving Protective Coating Inspector certification, strengthening the availability of highly competent inspectors to support industry across the region.
Collaborations like this help to raise industry standards and ensure professionals around the world have access to high-quality, competency-driven training.
